Our client Transocean is the world's largest offshore drilling contractor, headquartered in Switzerland and publicly-listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Transocean sought a strategic relationship with one of its critical suppliers, Aspin Kemp and Associates. Aspin Kemp & Associates  is a privately-owned Canadian engineering systems integrator, delivering innovative products, technically advanced services, integrated systems documentation and world-class training primarily to the marine and offshore industry.

Transocean retained Alexander Capital to structure and execute a transaction which would leave AKA with its autonomy yet secure its exclusive access to vital technology. Alexander Capital provided valuation services, structured the investment, and negotiated the key terms of the investment on behalf of Transocean.
