Publicly-listed Yellow Pages Group (“YPG”) operated Aliant Directory Services, a joint venture with Bell Aliant to publish and distribute yellow page directories in Eastern Canada. Unable to optimize the operations due to this legacy ownership structure, YPG negotiated an agreement to acquire 100% of the assets of Aliant Directory Services.
Alexander Capital was engaged as YPG’s strategic financial adviser to leverage the firm’s extensive knowledge of the Aliant Directory Services business and its excellent relationships with key executives at Bell Aliant. This successful acquisition allowed YPG to capture meaningful cost and revenue synergies upon full integration of the business.
