Telecon

Telecon is a leading telecommunication network services provider headquartered in Montreal and backed by Clearspring Capital Partners, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, and Desjardins Enterprises. On November 19, 2018, Telecon announced the acquisition of Cam-Tel Line Locating (“Cam-Tel”).

With approximately 150 employees, Cam-Tel has provided Western Canada’s telecom and infrastructure owners with safe, efficient and cost-effective locating services since 1995. It completes over 100,000 Alberta One Call locate requests annually. The acquisition of Cam-Tel is highly complementary to Telecon’s existing operations in Western Canada.

Founded in 1967, Telecon offers industry-leading design, locate, infrastructure and connectivity solutions to telecommunication companies and corporate clients nationwide.

Alexander Capital identified Cam-Tel as an attractive acquisition target for Telecon, initiated the transaction with Cam-Tel and acted as financial advisor to Telecon over the course of negotiations.
